Bubs Room

Bubs Room caters for our youngest people, infants. In Bubs, children operate on their home routines, so some sleep while others play, and everyone spends lots of time eating! At Friends Childcare, children connect with a primary educator who supports the child and family into the service. In Bubs, this connection is vital as younger children need to feel a sense of belonging, security and be supported by an educator for separation, sleep, play and mealtimes. The Bubs’ learning environment provides opportunities for children to reach their full potential in a fun, caring and content setting, where children can thrive, engaging in daily experiences like yoga, music and singing, stories, puppetry, lots of physical experiences including climbing, balancing, walking and jumping. Educators provide children with sensory experiences, including clay, finger painting and drawing. The Bubs care environment emphasises the importance of a strong, secure base for children to grow and build upon within the centre.
