Preschool Room

The Preschool Room is where the big kids stay until they are ready for school. Again, this room’s age range varies with children, usually between 3 to 3.5 years to school age, depending on individual needs and space. A teacher with four years’ training leads this room, and the program operates from 8.30am till 4.30pm. It caters for all the skills children need for school like sharing, turn-taking, waiting, emotional and behaviour regulation.

The Preschool Room is an inclusive space with complex, challenging and interesting learning experiences that encourage children to lead and work in small groups to discover and fulfil their curiosity. Some learning experiences offered are yoga, music, STEM, cooking, excursions on campus and in the community, creative arts, construction, gardening and imaginative role play. Teachers and educators work with families, outside professionals (occupational therapists and speech therapists), and local schools to prepare schools for your child to transition from our early education environment to the school environment.
